Staff friendly, had one map of the area which showed what to do. No additional information describing the area in English that you would've found in other information centres. No knowledge of the river taxi system a hundred metres away (overpriced)

Don't miss the beautiful view on the rooftop, it's free and worth seeing it. You can have a drink on the rooftop bar. Excellent to relax after visiting Asakusa area. The staff is fluent in English and very helpful.

It is impossible to miss AC. It is near the Asakusa metro exit/entrance and its architecture is a beautiful sight. Tip: visit it at night and go to the last floor, so you can have a panoramic view of Senso-ji Temple. Bonus: it is not...More

One of the landmarks in Asakusa which is directly opposite the kaminarimon gate. An extraordinary architect of the work "Kengo Kuma".

A convenient tourist information center. Asakusa is a busy area, and there are many sights to see. Being across from the main gate of Senso-ji is certainly convenient. Even though we had our plans already, it helped to pop in and look for any helpful...More

The tourist center is opposite of the main gate. The center is beautiful inside and outside. The views on the 8th floor are beautiful and free.

They have a small office for money exchange. The rate is really low. If you have the chance to exchange it on a bank go for it.

Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
