I come over from the States to visit friends in Somerset a couple of times a year and this is hands down one of my favorite spots. I've always enjoyed lunch up front and fun evenings in the pizza bar downstairs in the evening. On...More

My wife and I on the first weekend that The Gallery Bar started doing Sunday lunches. The food was absolutely lovely. Maya is a great cook. We both started with the Arancini of sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella. And then the roast was cooked to perfection....More

We shall not be going here again. We couldn't sit in the front room where it was warm as for only one very large table being available the others were taken up with what looked like folk that had settled in for the day. Our...More

We had a lovely meal here tonight. Tasty pizzas and delicious puddings. The service was excellent, and the waiter was attentive, polite but with a little fun banter. The atmosphere is great. Background music, dimmed lights, attractive furnishings. Really recommend.

Dear Francesca, We were very much hoping you'd contact us as there was a great amount outstanding on your bill despite us recompensing you, owing to over £100. We do hope that you'll speak to your friend about this that was kind enough to come around and offer this. We were so sorry you were so disappointed with the Gallery Bar. I know that a member of staff misheard 'no chillis' for 'no cheese' and this caused some confusion in the kitchen but we were never informed of an allergy to chillis. We only offer one pizza on the menu with chillies and so why they would order this pizza when they had that allergy we are confused. There were three pizzas with chilies made in your big group under the same order when this was brought up as a mistake, and so as a good will gesture we took all of these off the bill amounting to a considerable amount even so we did think you enjoyed them as they were certainly all eaten!
