the drive through the Serra do Geres is breathtaking. The valleys, gorges, small villages that you drive through, the vineyards, and the scent of pine and eucalyptus are unforgettable views. Stop at the various look outs- the pictures will be everlasting.

This was well worth the drive from Tavira Portugal. The approaching drive was incredible, and the views from the top of the walled city even better. Take a trip back in time, and go the Mertola.
