Poorly groomed.
Robotic managers that are rude and dont listen.
Very disappointing.
Managers could have easily got me to come back but I will never return. Stick with the bigger name resorts , they listen to your concerns and actually care if you return, these people dont.
Very poor conditions and unsafe for my son but they would not refund after we did just one run.
They repeat over and over" no refunds" "no refunds"....
General Manager says he has invested interest. "I ve been here for 28 years." Wow, the same part time ,seasonal job, for that long. You should be proud!
I guess he didnt understand what invested interest means. And that's why this place didnt fully open till recently. With the right people in place that actually care it could be a legitimate business.
Even at half price dont waste your money.

I spent about $300 to take my son skiing last weekend. He had a "1 hour" lesson I paid $125 for that was only 50 minutes and which he spent about half of it in line with the instructor for the bunny hill. They don't give students/instructors a fast-pass to the line so for your private lesson you stand in line most of the time instead of learning to ski.

I need to add that going here during Covid restrictions is a nightmare. You have to show your vax passport EVERY time you use the washroom. I can understand the indoor food, but the washroom every time?? Also, I was chased down by an employee who looked about 13 yelling at me to pull up my face covering as I skied by him. He followed me into the ski line barking at me. I had to tell him to stop harassing me when he insisted I tucked my face covering into my mask. Then, a volunteer for Brimacombe, "Jenn" skied up behind me and continued to tell me how I was putting everyone's safety at risk by not tucking in my face covering to my mask. She was completely rude and I had to tell her to back up out of my face. This was complete overkill. I wanted to just leave the hill at that point. I saw many people in line with NO face covering who were not spoken to. I understand public health measures as I mask consistently and am triple vaccinated but this was just harassing customers who paid a lot of money to spend a nice day safely outdoors. Give gentle reminders and go after people who have nothing on their face. Thanks for a mostly disappointing day, Brim!

I honestly have been many skiing places but this place I found very disappointed and regret to take my kids here on last long weekends. not only one time but 3 times. First 2 times, we arrived around 8:00 PM (they closed at 9:30PM) with my 2 little kids, they refused to have us check in because we have no reservations (and the reason is we called in and they said we can checkin in person if it is not possible to book online) while the place was not busy at all, parking was free. Second time is same things happened, I tried to finish work early to get there around 8PM and nobody wanted to help us out and did not let us in. my kids were so upset and disappointed. but we tried to understand and came third times, we are a new immigrant family with 2 little kids, and I tried to book 4 reservations online as they said however when I booked it on their website, I did not see they mentioned no snow pants rental on website or anywhere, all I see is Full Skiing Package Rental. We came there and found out there is no snow rental services, we are ok with that and all we asked for is refund One ticket including lift ticket and full skiing rental package that already paid online when they asked for credit card information. they receptionist girl refused to do that and slammed the window in front of us and said That's it!! in front of us with very bad attitude and poor manner when we tried to have a conversation to find a solution that makes everyone happy but not. everyone else inside looked down at us. I called in again to speak with manager but again the receptionist girl said our manager doesn't want to deal or do anything with you. I can't believe that a place was existing for long time having very poor management and untrained, no manner and bad attitude staffs. I made complaints and leave reviews here not to have my money which they charges from my credit card and we did not use their services but I just do not want any other family get into this bad situation again. I believe that all business want make money but make it fair with respect and understanding to clients. I also believe that the main point of all Services Business is not to sell as many as possible but provide a Proper Services and acceptable Customer Services with respect as we always respect them!!

FIRST OF ALL —- the runs aren’t even that good. Today I had purchased a 4hr lift ticket. The weather today was very windy. After about 5-6 runs and less than an hour into skiing, my lift ticket had fallen off and flown away. The person running the lift told me I could go over and get it reprinted. I get over to the ticket booth and explain the situation. They refused to get me a new one. We had proof that I had purchased it and it was still the same person from when we arrived. They told me the only way I could get another was paying for a whole new one. So 120 dollars on 4 hrs of skiing? There’s nothing we could do but leave. So I spent 60 dollars on less than an hour of skiing. Great thanks👍🏻 #boycottbrim

Brimacombe is an excellent destination for both those learning to ski and those who are comfortable on the slopes if you do not want to travel to far from home(East Toronto to Belleville).

Brimacombe has two lodges, 4 chairlifts, 20+ trails and two terrain parks

Amenities:
Ski School (I think one of the best in Ontario due to staff and excellent teaching terrain.)
Two Cafeteria's
Ski rentals
Boutique Ski shop

Parking, take your pick, there are lots of choices.
West side - Cafeteria and lift passes available
Top - Parking only
East top -Parking only
East lower -Cafeteria, ski school, ski shop, lift passes

If you are a more accomplished skier and don't require anything more than a lift ticket and a lunch counter, park at the West side lodge.

If you need to rent equipment or take a lesson, head to the lower east side parking lot.

Night skiing available only from the top and east side parking lots. check availability.

Usually closed Mondays.

We have been skiing at Brim for the last two seasons. My 5yo daughter had a series of private lessons last year and this year participated in the 8 week ski school. The ski school is fantastic by the way. My husband and I would buy half day lift tickets with evening extension and ski from 1ish until 3pm when our daughter’s lesson started and then ski with her a bit after her lesson too. One Saturday in late feb we did this - but on our 2nd run we tried to board the chair lift and my daughter didn’t roll forward on the movator quick enough for some reason. We knew she wouldn’t be able to make it to the line for the chair in time and we tried everything to get the attention of the teenage lift operator who was preoccupied with talking to her partner. The response time to stop the lift was way too slow in my opinion - the chair ended up slamming into the back of my daughter and continued to move so then twisted her sideways. She was terrified. We were terrified. She was crying about her knee being too sore to continue. We brought her to the chalet to asses her (was it her being freaked out or was she legitimately hurt?). After assessing We made the decision that her knee was too sore to continue skiing - which of course meant that my husband and I had bought lift tickets (including the evening extensions) for 2 runs, and my daughter was now also going to miss her $45lesson so we had spent close to $200 that day to ski down two, 3min runs and then have our day ended by something that should not have happened in the first place.
When we went to the guest services desk to explain what had happened and ask for a refund considering we clearly didn’t get to ski that day and that our daughter was hurt on the lift. I was passed along to two other guest services people (none of whom asked me how my daughter was). Finally the third employee? Manager? Refused to provide us with a refund stating “no refund policy”. That’s all fine and well except when we were in this situation because of a mishap on their end! I felt like I was being accused of trying to scam them or something. As if we would drive over an hour from Toronto - ski down twice (10min
total) and then decide to “call it a day” and drive back to Toronto again. Ridiculous. We left that day bc we were still more concerned about our daughters knee at this point - but we we feeling pretty upset by the way we were handled at guest services. The whole resort seems to be run by university and high school students. Ski instructors, lift operators, guest services reps. You’d be hard-presssed to find any adult with experience to help you. We had planned on being long term customers of brain. But because of our unsafe experience on the lift combined with pretty appalling lack of customer service we will definitely be going elsewhere next year. Terrible lack of foresight on management’s part to deny a refund in this one instance at the sake of many years of potential profit from us in lessons/lift tickets/ memberships. etc. There are many other options nearby that are safer and more caring of their guests.

I have skiied at Brimacombe for the past 2 years. It's the best ski area anywhere in Ontario south of number 7 highway. Lots of runs and lifts with trails from beginner to advanced.
Recently I decided to purchase new downhill boots and was referred to the Slopeside shop at Brimacombe by an experienced skiier.
What an incredible experience.
Bob was the gentleman who helped me and he spent over 2 hours with me choosing the most apprropriate boot for my feet and skiing ability.
He was able to heat mould my new boots right in their shop and I now have ski boots that feel like a pair of comfortable winter boots. No pinch points or rubbing anywhere.
I then went back and was able to test drive different skis before choosing a new pair.
Again Bob assisted me, he even greeted me by name when I entered the shop and was once again incredibly helpful and I left with a great pair of skis.
I can't compliment or recommend this place enough.
With very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient staff it really is a great experience to visit Brimacombe.
Too bad I can only give it 5 stars.

Don’t follow and attack costumers.
They attacked me for wearing a mask because I was a park skier.

Great ski hill from the beginner to the more advanced skier. The staff was very efficient at moving people up the hill on busy days and very cheerful to deal with. During the week (Tuesday – Friday) you would be very hard pressed to find a better value of ski hill for the price in the local Clarington area.
