Went to visit Jungle cat world, and did the "behind the scenes" program with Sheila the kangaroo, Luna the fennec fox, and Guido the ring tailed Lemur. We were recommended Carl as our host from a friend, who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and eager and excited to share the one on one experience with us! He was even nice enough... More

An excellent and well kept private zoo. Family visited and had an up close and personal experience with a number of the animals. Staff working with animals were great and very pleasant.

What an incredible day spent with here! Middle of winter so we had the zoo virtually to ourselves! Booked the lion encounter as a holiday getaway for a family of four (children aged 10 & 15) and the Zoo, experience and caring staff far surpassed all expectations. It's obvious that the owners and staff love the animals deeply and will... More

This day was a dream come true! I brought my aunt that has just won her battle against stage 4 breast cancer. She was in tears she was so happy. I got to TOUCH A LION!!! It was the coolest moment of my life thus far. Although I have to say, Ed the hyena was my favourite animal. I would... More

Jungle Cat World is a pretty awesome privately owned zoo that is fully CAZA accredited...that means that they're held to high standards with respect to animal care and welfare. The zoo also offers an incredible summer camp for kids called Safari Zoo Camp that I definitely recommend checking out along with their meet and greet opportunities for children and adults!... More

My family and I had a wonderful afternoon, with Summer, in our Behind the Scenes experience. We got to meet/interact with 3 animals of our choice (Serval cat; Red Kangaroo & ring-tailed lemurs). The time spent was interesting and informative. We got to feed them, pet them, ask questions. While the notion of animals in captivity is perplexing, the facility... More

Carl was our host and he was incredible. The interactions with the animals were real close and personal. Had the best time with my girl. This place was amazing.

First off, the staff here is wonderful. They are extremely knowledgeable and it's very obvious that they love the animals and treat them as best they can. HOWEVER, the enclosures are incredibly small with very little enrichment - and it's easy to see this has taken a toll on many of the animals. These poor living conditions aren't due to... More

The experience right from the start was great. Ashlee responded to my emails quickly. All staff were knowledgeable and extremely friendly. This made the experience feel very personable. We had a girls day out and did the "Behind The Scenes" tour. Our guide (sorry I can't remember his name) was really good at explaining things and always making us feel... More
