Fjord&Bælt’s exhibitions are for visitors of all ages. The exhibitions are made up of different rooms where it is possible to immerse yourself in various topics. For instance, in one room you can learn about jellyfish and test your skills at various interactive stations. Another puts you eye-to-eye with the skeleton of a huge sperm whale, where you can test your skills against the fascinating senses and abilities of whales. You can also watch splendid films about the sea on giant screens, which make you feel that you are underwater yourself. The recurring feature of Fjord&Bælt’s exhibitions is our touch pools which provide a unique opportunity to get very close to marine animals. Fjord&Bælt wants to make sure everyone gets his or her hands wet, because we believe that this provides the most profound and intense experience – and hopefully encourages the visitor to ultimately want to take better care of the sea, and not least the aquatic animals living there.

Small mariner, nice but high entrance fee

Interesting sight. The people working there makes the sight actually different. The feeding of the animals is the actually the attraction. Interesting, expensive for what you can do and see, but worth a visit altogether.

Informative and fun

We all enjoyed this aquarium. We learned a lot about the marine life in this area. My kids (12 & 10) loved the touch pools. The area is beautiful and we saw porpoises swimming out by the pier. :)

A great place with kids if visiting Kerteminde

Nice aquarium

Nice aquarium located byt he sea. A lot of things to see, from small crabs, to seals and a little whale. Recomended during a visit to Kerteminde.

Definitely worth a visit

We spent a very nice, enjoyable and informative afternoon in Fjord and Belt. All the displays are well made and feature local fauna. Of course feeding the whales and sea lions were fun to watch, the trainers stayed on afterwards to answer all our questions....More

Fascinating

A must if you are near by. A mixture of science brought to everyone, sea search centre and museum. You can watch the training of the harbour porpoise and Seals with all necessary explantions. When we were there a scientist has done some work together...More

Interesting and funny

Interesting study of the sealion and porpoise (small whale) playing and execising with their trainers. A real family friendly place located in the harbour of Kerteminde which is a really nice small town.
