Beautiful beach, soft clean sand, amazingly clear water. It was so peaceful, and the sea so enticing that we went for a swim, even at the beginning of April!!

Got 2 double sun loungers and a brolly for €50 as the public beach was so rammed there was no way 5 of us would be able to sit down!!
The sea is the clearest I’ve seen since Whitsundays in Aus.
Shame the beach was so busy but learning that this is Italy’s summer hols too!
Great beach bar just behind (La Punta).

Cool sea, very clean. A lot of vendors/sales. Nice music. Price for 2sun beds and umbrella in sept is 15€. Simple food in Oasis bar. 2 pasta + beer + coca is about 20€.
Do not accept cards.

It’s like a caraibian beach. Lightly and clean water, white sand and very very warm. In September we didn’t find wind so even better. The beach is clean and the sand very thin. It’s mandatory to take a tour on it

Punta Prosciutto is the start of a long stretch of sandy beaches. It‘s very long, has crystal clear light blue water and a few dunes in the background.
Only hitch is a lack or choice of beach huts and amenities and that the settlement looks rather wild - to some including us this isn't a drawback at all.
Rubbish / cigarette buds on the beach however is a problem everywhere in the region.

Beautiful beach with clear water. Be prepared to say, “No, Grazie” every 30 seconds to vendors more annoying than seagulls.

Absolutely spectacular sea. Now I understand why they are called the Maldives of Salento.
Crystal clear water, fine golden sandy beach.
It felt like a pool.
Most of the beach is free so just equip yourself with a sturdy umbrella to avoid paying for the beaches. The part behind the dunes is protected from the wind, while by the sea it is more ventilated. In the water at times there are traces of poseidonia but it is more than normal. The water is not high if you do not get far enough from the shore.
Frequent bars and toilets. Parking along the access roads to both free (further away) and paid beaches near the entrance to the beach.
