Each of the commercial caves we have visited has been very different. This cave has very large passages and rooms, and the usual Korean stainless walkways everywhere. We comfortably toured the cave in about 45 minutes. The entrance walk is either a quite steep walk from the parking lot, or you can take a little trolly car, which i recommend.... More

This cave was a nice half day outing from Samcheok. I walked from the bus stop to the monorail, and rode up on it, which saves a long-ish uphill walk. The thing that is interesting about the cave is the size of it and the volume of water flowing through it, which is amazing and noisy. It doesn't have a... More

This is by far the largest cave I have seen. Internally the path was well constructed and hence it made the walk a pleasant, organised and easy one. We went in summer but we understood that the floor might be slippery in winter and hence more care would be needed. Lighting and signs were erected which made the visiting interesting... More

I and My frineds were searching special attractions. The cave, Hwanseongul, is very large and big. I felt I’m just one piece of nature. I think we look around this cave over hour. If you are hiker, I definally recommend here. and there are monorial to transfer to cave enterance from ticket office. The distance also was long. It is... More

These amazing caves are some of the biggest in Asia and the forest and rivers around the area are also gorgeous but be prepared for a lot of walking. We arrived on a day where it was 35Deg+ and first we had to parka long way from the ticket booth and then it was a long hot steep walk just... More

The biggest lime stone cave in Korea. Its length is 6.5km and there are fantastic stalagmites, stalactites, about 10 lakes and waterfalls. Some spots of interest include stalactites that look like the Great Wall of China and many other uniquely shaped figures. The temp inside of the cave stands at 12-24℃ in the summer and 8-9℃ in the winter. It... More

This was a really cool experience. It's only 4,000 to enter the cave and see the largest limestone cave in Korea. The monorail fee is 4,000 one way or 7k round-trip or you can hike up the mountain. The hike was steeper than we thought and quite muggy as you climb higher. For May, I was surprised at the heat.... More

The address given didn't show up in our GPS, but put in as much as you can and it will get you in the vicinity. There are well positioned signs directing you to the cave as you get closer. It took close to an hour drive down the coast from Suncruise Resort ( another interesting review) and the Jeongdongjin area.... More
