Whether you want to sit and stare or explore these extensive gardens/woods you will not be disappointed with this excursion. In the heart of the Conwy valley lies a little gem that you may pass by accident. Don't be put off by a full car park as the garden is so extensive you can find a space of your own... More

These well established gardens run by the National Trust have something for all seasons. We visited in mid-February on a dull and wet day but the snowdrops and hellebores were in full bloom. The garden paths are easy to walk and outside the formal garden areas the woodland views are good. The place is very tranquil and relaxing. The tearoom... More

A huge amount of respect for all the gardeners working daily to keep the garden pristine. Was greeted by a lovely volunteer called David who spent an hour showing us round which was more than informative and a greatly... More

As a NT member Bodnant is a wonderful day out, even in winter as long as the weather is fine. The children can run freely and there is lots to explore. The cakes in the cafe are excellent too: just the ticket after a good long walk!!

First visit to the newish winter garden area, which was the best I have seen. The setting of the whole garden is superb and has interest all the year round and with this addition makes it even more enjoyable. We visited on a sunny but cold February day when it was quiet and full of perfume from the sarcococca (... More

We visited here on Monday and once again enjoyed our walk around the extensive gardens. Despite being cold and wet we had a great couple of hours. The Winter garden was very colourful bearing in mind the month.

I have been a member of the National Trust for over 3 years, and i love visiting them all. But for me Bodnant Garden is my Favourite. Its beautiful in the summer or winter. Stunning views, so much history and just a great place for an adventure! I would recommend to anyone.

My partner and I visit Bodnant Gardens whenever we can and today - despite the recent dullness and rain - we visited in the early sunshine and were taken on a guided tour of the gardens by Rangers 'Pam' and 'Joe' who were very helpful and we even informed them of some new background history to add to their tour....
