We took to short ferry trip from Nantes across to the river to the tranquil village of Trentemoult which oozes character. The village has many places to eat and lots of cafes. All of which seemed to be at the higher end cost wise.

The local hype about this being a stylish, arty Cornish-style village did not come true for us. A nice little trip on the boat to get there, but a dump.

This makes a good lunchtime break if you are visiting Nantes and are equipped with a day travel pass, as the Navibusis included on the ticket. The boat runs every 20 mins in the middle of the day, and the trip takes 15 minutes. You...More

If you like houses with colors and cats, this is here. The best thing to do is to walk around, and sit at a terrace to enjoy the view of Nantes

The houses are pretty. The ferry ride is E1.60, look round at the coloured houses and come back with in the hour.

A place to discover with its colorful houses, small bars and restaurants. There is a green playground for kids under large trees. Overall the village is worth a small visit, especially if ypu come by boat.

Hi. We didn't stay long enough to tell - we didn't like the look of the place, nor any of the "folksy" eateries we saw along the area near the ferry landing. May just be us - after all, we are 71, English, and fairly... More
