The temple is small and located in between the city of Sholan. You may not find much to explore, but the temple is having a long lasting history of Solan. The name 'Solan' of the the city is derived from this Shooloni Mata Temple. A number of stories and believes are associated with this teme. Every year a three days fair is organised in the month of June to pay regard to Maa Shoolini.

Nice temple with very bad surroundings. The families living around this area has made the ambience sticky. It was good to visit maa shoolini but it was very bad to go through the narrow streets with foul smell of seavages. Nobody would want to visit again if the place is not maintained properly
