Peaceful and calm place. Tibetean buddhist temple. One need to take a short climbing in stairs. You can avoid it by going in car right near the monastery. Photos and cameras are allowed inside. Went in the afternoon when there was the prayer by resident monks in a hall nearby. We were not allowed inside. The buddhist priest in the monastery was very friendly and explained about the history of the place and about the idols placed inside. The place has good scenic views of the surrounding Hills. Their is a souvenir shop in the guest house down from the monastery, though it is expensive. Can spend up to 2 to 3 hours there.

Situated around 20 kms from Solan town onwards Rajgarh Road, it is a hidden Jewel of Solan. Last 8 kms is single road , passing through hills. This Monastery is situated atop a small hill, having a very picturises view, having calm, pious, positive aura atmosphere. Building architect is beautiful with various dominating colors. Bon religion is different sect from Buddhism, having its own blue colored robe, own his Holiness and culture. Though it is similar to Buddhism, it have its own identities, followers and rituals. They have a small Guest House near by having around 10 rooms . Charges are reasonable from Rs350/--Rs800/-(inclusive of simple meals). There is also a library and Souvenir shop, but they were closed. Lawns are well maintained and Monks very friendly and informative. A must visit place for tourist to have glimpse of entirely different culture. It takes around 1 hour to reach there and one should spend at least 2 hours there to learn and understand the culture.
