Nice spot. I don't mind too much about menhirs but the place is beautiful, with some haunting big houses too

Stumbled across the stones en route to pen hir, worth a 15 min stop to take a look at them, there are little plaques explaining what they are and their significance

A nice surprise!

Driving to Pen-hir we came across these standing stones. A lot of them have not been resurrected for they were removed before people realized their value. They are still worth seeing and there is a plaque explaining a little about them Worth 15-20 minutes of your time wandering amongst them.

Worth a quick stop

You will pass these on the way to Pointe de Pen-Hir if you leave Camaret on the D8A. Its well worth getting out of the car for 5 mins. Some of the stones are more than 10 feet high; the alignment is impressive and makes a great photo or selfie shot.

Interesting point

Even if you have visited other main menhirs of the region, this alignment deserves to pay a visit if you are nearby thanks to its location.

If you are lucky enough to be alone, let transport you to the atmosphere of ancient times and the power of the landscape. Look at the monument leaving the houses at your back, and enjoy.

Mini Carnac on the Crozon Peninsular - free access and easy parking - well worth combining with visit to Point de Penhir / Camaret sur Mer

interesting to look at, but not breath-taking. We got lucky and only few people were there, but we were not impressed (as we were in Scotland)

Impressive

This alignment of standing stones is located not far from the sea. There are 60 monoliths (if we counted right) arranged in a line and two lines of stones at right angles. As far as I understand the site was partly destroyed and then later restored. We stumbled on it accidentally but we were quite impressed.
