Warming huts are for me, for me formidable!
The trails are groomed with gusto.
Ski de fond, bon, bon, bon ici. Friendly!
Merci to Dylan who provided helpful orientation.

A wide variety of beautiful trails, from easy to challenging. Well maintained, good signage and infrastructure (lookouts, bridges, refuges). Great service and advice at the bright and clean welcome centre.

Great trails for beginners and advanced hikers. Not much to see in between views, but the wilderness is waiting to be discovered by those who wish to see it.

I cross country skied twice at Sentier des Caps near Le Massif during February 2013.
Overall, a very nice, low key cross country ski and snowshoe facility. For classic skiing...not for skating. Sentier des Caps also has a snowshoe only (and hiking in the summer) area SW of Le Massif and closer to Beaupre. I did not visit this part and only cross country skied in the part near Le Massif. There aren't a ton of cross country ski trails, but enough for maybe three different visits here doing different loops each time.
Situated up around 2500' elevation, this place gets a lot of snow. This was evident in the 3-4 foot snowpack present in February despite it being a below average snowpack. The grooming was rather poor for the in-track skiing the first day I went. The tracks had been set a few days before and were rather icy but slow. However, conditions were much better the second time I went.
Some of the trails skirt the edge of the plateau with great views of the Saint Lawrence, but only the most difficult trails access these views. The other trails stay away from the "edge" with less exciting views. Lac Gauthier, away from the edge, however was quite nice, and is accessed from an easy trail. The view at the warming hut at Liguori is very nice of the ocean, but for an even better view, ski a couple minutes past the Liguori hut turnoff on the main trail until you hit the hiking/snowshoe trail intersection, then take off your skis and walk about 5 minutes north to a drop dead gorgeous view of the ocean. If the snow is really soft and sinkable, you may want keep your skis on for this rather than ditching them.
Overall, definitely worth a visit if in the area.
