Goathland Station is a tiny railway station with old signs. It has been nicely maintained but apart from that, it’s not anything amazing.

Thank you for your review of Goathland Station. I'm sorry that you weren't impressed - perhaps you would have understood it more if there had been a steam train passing through.

We stopped here to visit Hogsmeade station from the Harry Potter films, there was also a tea shop serving snacks and hot and cold drinks. Service was a little slow and it was very busy that day, the small gift shop had a small selection...More

Thank you for your review and for your understanding that the service was a little slow due to the number of customers.

The station is wonderfully maintained and there were lots of people around to answer questions. The trains were on an autumn break, but still worth a visit to the ‘Harry Potter’ station.

Atmospheric, familiar from "Heartbeat" and "Harry Potter", Goathland Station is carefully tended by its staff. the station master paces up and down looking at his pocket watch, awaiting the steam train to come into sight under the footbridge, or make the climb up the gradient...More

Station covered in scaffolding, so not as pretty as it could have been. Have been here many times in the past. Begrudge paying to park in the village (so park on the local housing estate). The garage (used in Heartbeat) and the parade of shops...More

Thank you for your review - although most of it is about Goathland Village rather than the station. I understand that the station house is having vital work done on the roof, hence the scaffolding.
