I am rapidly going off this minimum 100 character thing. It's a nice church, the stained glass windows are worth a look. What more can I say.

Beautiful Church and the cemetery must be walked round as it has many varied walled places to view and seats to sit and reminisce.

Lovely church - awesome stained glass windows by Byrne Jones and William Morris - make sure you visit the peaceful and stunning garden/graveyards surrounding church - look up at the Windmill on the hill and seek out Gary Moore's (of Thin Lizzy) grave.

This was the first and only wedding for 2020 at this church the bells had not rung since March, Father was lovely, seating in the church was limited and spaced out to follow covid guidance 20 close family attended the church face masks and hand sanitiser used before entering the church. Lovely service and the sun was shinning. We will be back at the church next year to celebrate the renewing of vows with all the guest and hopefully no limitations a lovely service

The old church of Rottingdean is an interesting place to visit during a stay in Rottingdean. The gravestones of graveyard are showpieces of the long history of the village.

This is a lovely place. First, it is kept open. Secondly the windows are stunning, particularly the ones of the vibrant colours of Burne-Jones who lived opposite the church and whose ashes are in the Churchyard along those of his wife, Georgiana. The south windows by Clayton and Bell are not so good, but serve to contrast the quality of the remainder.

I visited for the Burne-Jones stained glass (gorgeous) on a Tuesday afternoon. B-J lived opposite in Prospect Cottage, and is buried in the churchyard (plaque in the wall of the church just to the right of the door). I met Anthony the vicar by chance, and he was wonderfully helpful and informative, including showing me the village pond (which has been there since 1200, and which the church used to own and sell fish to the villagers), and the village museum, where there is currently a Burne-Jones exhibition. Thank you Anthony!

Came here to pay respects to our guitar hero at his resting place. Lovely surroundings very peaceful. With views of windmill and nice little pond across the road.

We just happened to be passing and decided to visit our friend’s graves which are numerous in this delightful church and it’s grave yard and location are superb. Parking limited but not far from the village centre. Early Saxon with a very interesting history of some very old graves of pirates and highwaymen!
