Location open ONLY on a Saturday 11-12 for guided tours. Well worth the wait. Fascinating and informative history provided by one of the 13 nuns.

We stayed at the HI Express and wandered down to Minster Village on a cold Saturday morning. Unfortunately the Abbey was not open to see inside... More

Actually attended a church service here and toured the facility. I find old churches in England/Europe fascinating and this did not disappoint.

Minster Abbey is a lovely place for a day's visit or for a longer contemplative stay. Facilities are good and the care is excellent. Services at the Abbey are sung and very beautiful. A gift shop stocks a good selecton of icons, rosaries, books and much more.
