We went as a large group and the food and service were great. Haven’t been for a while and had forgotten how nice it was. Will definitely be going more often!

A nice pub predominantly locals but dog friendly in the bar which suited us. Good selection of food although my lamb rump was not as tender as it could have been it was ok. Staff very friendly all in all a pleasant visit.

The food here is fantastic with a good selection with local produce used. The portions are big as well so you get your money's worth. Good selection of beers on tap as well to go with you food. Staff always friendly and helpful.

The wife and I have visited this pub several times for lunch and have always thoroughly enjoyed it, they have a great 'pub food' menu as well as a vast gourmet burger choice and a well stocked bar with plenty of choice of ales.

Three of us had lunch here just after New Year. It was quite busy with a couple of large family groups in. The service was good and the staff very efficient. The food was lovely and we all enjoyed our meals.

They previously allowed dogs in the bar area but I would check as it appears to be under new management. The car park is right next to the pub and you should be fine from an access point of view.
