Parked in the car park, went through a nice wooden gate and started down the path. It came to a sudden stop about 2 feet above the beach. Path obstructed by tree roots and rocks. No warnings! My husband tripped over the roots and fell, narrowly missing the rocks. He broke his shoulder and ended up in A&E. Wrote to highland council who say it is owned by Rhubana Estate who refuse to make it safe. An absolute disgrace. Would try to due but no evidence and no contact details.

Easy to reach beach , beautiful silver sands , clear sea. There were a few people there , some swimming , some dog walkers , most just enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

A stunning area around the estuary of the river Morar. There are many beaches all with perfectly white sand. Easy walking distance from a limited amount of parking spaces. Get there early for a good spot. The tidal range is small and the beaches are very shallow so ideal for paddling.

This is a stunning beach accessed from a car park just off the A830. The turning is signposted Camusdarrach and Tougal, and Morar Beach Car Park is about 0.3 miles along the road on the right. The park is free, and there are toilets there, but they were not open when we visited on 23rd September 2022. A short walk takes you onto a fabulous beach. Much of this will be covered at high tide so check tide times. We were able to get to a point about 0.6 miles from the car park before water stopped us, and it was just after low tide. The views of Eigg, Rum, Canna and the Cuillins on Skye from this point were fantastic. A dead easy walk, and the sand would also be great for children whatever the state of the tide - note for parents - there could be quite a current on the flood and ebb tides but we didn't see them - just a possible warning for children and poor swimmers.

This is another of the wonderful beaches in the area with fantastic white sand and the water was all shades of blue. Perhaps I was lucky as the sun was out and showed to beach to its advantage.

Came over Easter weekend, didn't see too many people there even so.

At the higher end of the tide it is a beautiful place, with white sands.

A mark off because the fact the water disappears at low tide leaving a mud flat made things tricky when high tides were early and late in the day (both around 7 o'clock), meaning for most of the day it wasn't so pretty. So the windows when it was were relatively short, and given the weather is very changeable we didn't really see it at its best over even 3 days in Morar as you need to have the tide in and good weather at the same time!

That wouldn't be such a thing if when you visit high tide is in the middle of the day, as then you'll get a good few hours of the water being in the vicinity of the beach.

Some informal rope swings have been put up that the kids enjoyed, and I liked the variety of bays.

Went here between Christmas and new year 2021.
One of the most amazing places i’ve ever seen. I sat on the beach on my deck chair until 5am before i went back to my hotel.
