Sadly our visit to Nefyn was on a very drizzly day so our views from the tower weren't fantastic, but we are planning visiting again.

After climbing numerous steps, I was able to see all around the area. The view was fabulous and there was historical information regarding the tower nearby. Apparently the local drunks were put in the tower to sort them out. I’d like to have seen someone...More

Tucked up the side street by the public toilets is the old watch tower. Interesting historical site with a good view. Most interesting part for me was that this was the Nefyn drunk tank those who overdid it and got into strife on a Saturday...More

Came across this on a walk in Nefyn. It is worth a look. It has a board telling you about the tower and town

Built on the site of the motte and bailey castle this little tower is tucked away behind St David's church. From the top there is a great view over the small town of Nefyn and out to sea,

On a clear day you can see for miles from this watchtower! Interesting history behind this very unusual, quite small lookout now looked after by Cadw. I climbed it one morning before leaving the hotel opposite to drive back home and the early morning mist...More

Not very inspiring. You access the tower down a scruffy littered lane, then when you get to the tower it is also surrounded by litter and overgrown greenery. Don't think it had been cleaned for a few weeks at least. Disappointing.
