Built on the site of the motte and bailey castle this little tower is tucked away behind St David's church. From the top there is a great view over the small town of Nefyn and out to sea,

Hubby and I were walking past St. David's Church when we noticed a sign for this historical tower pointing down a small alleyway where the public toilets were (these were open by the way). The information board said it was built in 1846 on top...More

An interesting little tower worth going to if you are in the area. Certainly not worth going out of your way for. The info board next to it has some interesting historical facts on it. At the top of the tower you will get a...More

Not very inspiring. You access the tower down a scruffy littered lane, then when you get to the tower it is also surrounded by litter and overgrown greenery. Don't think it had been cleaned for a few weeks at least. Disappointing.

Walked from museum in village. Tower fenced off and no information. Could be advertised and explained more in the local maritime museum. Needs to be open in the summer, or at least have some explanation as to why it is fenced off!
