The best tasting experience I've ever had

A very historic winery - the tasting room was inside a 100 year old aging tank. Very cool feel and truly amazing wines. We went here as our first stop on our Luyan de Cuyo tour with Ampora tours. Our guide spoke great English and was quite knowledgeable about wines. He added to the experience by cracking open a 2000... More

When you arrive the place is so unassuming, once you enter the history is overwhelming.. A secret garden so to speak.. We had a great tour with Ramiro and as it was our 5th year wedding anniversary he opened a couple of special bottles which did not disappoint. Americans- take advantage of their free shipping for a couple of month's... More

This Bodega has a great feel, good history and is family owned and run. The attention to detail in storage, the wine cellar and the small touches make this a little different than your typical winery. Our tour guide was great, gave good insight and was engaging, we learned a lot and we enjoyed the tour. I would rank this... More

Our first top on the Ampora wine tour was one of the oldest and best in Mendoza. The beautiful restored old winery was a treat, from the authentic poncho colection to the beautiful wines sample by our very knowledgable sommeliere.

Great experience. The tour guide was wonderful. The tasting was incredible too. We got to taste some of their finest wines, unlike most tours which charge extra for that. The location and building design was cool too. Would highly recommend.

The shear history and beauty of this vineyard is awesome. Our tasting host so welcoming and generous with knowledge, made our morning a truly special event. The wine simply added to a superb experience.

Rama, our host at the winery came back after hours to show us around. Informative. Proud of the winery - everything about their wine making process and history. One of the oldest and coolest wineries we saw all week. Because of him we rank this as one of our best stops.

My husband and I hired a driver for the day while we were in Mendoza. He surprised us with our first stop at Benegas. It's a smaller winery with a lot of history. The tour was excellent as our guide new so much about the grounds and wine making in general. For the actual tasting they take you in the... More

We arrive at this winery at the end of day with one of the last tour spots. You will need a reservation and they are very strict in terms of timing so try to be early at least. When you arrive, you are welcome at a massive saloon with a display of lots of collection items from ponchos to old... More

My wife and I have visited wineries in Australia, Napa, Oregon, Virginia, Santa Barbara, and Paso Robles. The tour and tasting at Benegas was orders of magnitude better. We got a personal tour of their beautiful winery, including the ability to see all parts of the process actually happening. We then had a guided tasting (ask for Renzo) that took... More
