The parking lot and field to walk across to get to the beach smelled like cow manure. The change rooms were dilapidated. The beach itself is mediocre. The water was cold but swimmable.

This is one of those places that I am really hesitant to write a review about. I could try to be subtle and say that you should visit here if you are ever in the area. But, IT IS INCREDIBLE!!!! Long, wide beach with spectacular...More

A must do stroll. The water may be a tad cool but the water is clean and clear. Families enjoy this beach. There are cook houses available, for free (part of the Gros Morne National Park pass)

We stayed in a nearby hotel for 5 days, and after a day of driving, or hiking, we chilled out at this beach about four times. We never saw more than a handful of people, even on warm, sunny afternoons. The beach is pristine. There...More

The beach offers one of the most spectacular views of the sun going down in the west. One can walk a way out into the ocean as the water is very shallow. While walking on the beach you will find some of the most beautiful...More

An amazing expanse of fine beach sand, interesting rock and beautiful grassy dunes. We walked it both morning and evening and enjoyed the gentle breeze with nothing but clean, fresh air. A beautiful spot not to be missed!

Great beach for a romantic walk. It is a gentle slope into the ocean, a hidden jewel where children can play in the water safely.
