We went for a sail on our final morning of our 10 day trip to Cape Breton and although there was little wind we had a fantastic time. Our two captains Gordon & Greg were amazing and their knowledge was very impressive. We would highly recommend this company for a sail on the Bras d’or Lake.

Highly recommend exploring Bras d'Or Lake from the water with Captain Greg and his first mate, Moose. We enjoyed a special day of sailing into coves and around islands, and learned about the history of the area and current happenings. If you are interested in learning to sail, Greg offers the opportunity to try your hand at the wheel and the patient encouragement to build confidence. Perfect way to spend a day in the area. Thank you!

An afternoon with Captain Greg is an adventure, a learning experience and a little slice of heaven all rolled into one. We booked our tour for Father’s Day (for the dad who has everything) and we would highly recommend seeing Cape Breton from the waters with Greg. His sailing experience allowed everyone on board to feel safe and we all left feeling more like sailors!
Thanks again Greg for the wonderful time

We took the full day sailing charter with captain Greg and Moose. The day started with fog, and not as much wind as forecasted (local variations they say?). However, the No Rush II is a sailing ship, so we did sail, and sail, and the sun and wind came out. As we are beginners, we were expecting to watch a lot the pros handling the sail ship, But no, we were fully onboard, without stress, but WE were sailing. That was a great experience . The best way to visit the Lac Bras d'Or

Captain Greg and first mate Brandon did an excellent job of making us comfortable, sharing stories of people and places in common, allowing is to enjoy the beauty of a special place in Cape Breton, and allowing us to take the helm while teaching us landlubbers a few nautical things. Great value and keep going Greg! We sailed in a 35' sailboat from St Peter's north through the islands and coves and into the Bras d'Or Lake and back for approximately six hours. Cruiser sailing vessel "No Rush II" has all the amenities one needs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day on the water with Capt. Greg & Moose. They have a beautiful boat, where we sailed from St Peters harbor through the local waterways. They are both extremely knowledgeable about sailing and the local area, sharing lots of information while we sailed. We were provided with soft drinks and great hospitality along the way. If you are looking for a great way to spend time relaxing on the water, I would highly recommend this boat charter.

My wife and I had wonderful afternoon sailing with Captain Greg and Moose. Although it was a warm day on shore, there was a refreshing breeze out on lake Bras' Dor. Except for leaving and returning to dock, we were under sail the whole time. Captain Greg let me take the wheel and was very patient and instructive as I sailed through around the islands in the lake.

My wife and I just recently spent two nights at Cape Breton Sailing Charter’s accommodations in St. Peters Cape Breton for our wedding anniversary this year. The accommodation was located beside the St. Peter’s Lock and within a five minute walk to the commercial district in St. Peter’s. The accommodation was wonderful. It was on the top floor of the main residence and had a great view of the inlet. Super clean, with free Netflix, small fridge with juice/coffee/tea provided, comfortable queen size bed, top of the line towels/linens, with a large soaker tub in the bathroom as well. Captain Greg was most welcoming and went out of his way to ensure we had a great time. We would recommend staying there for anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to stay in their travels, especially if sailing in on your bucket list. Thanks for everything!

Greg and his crew were amazing. Great knowledge of the water, local history, and how to teach newbies the basic of sailing. Highly recommend floating with Greg and his team to anyone stopping thru the area. We did a sunset cruise and it was magical, and the hotel just at the end of his driveway is perfect place to spend the night.

A wonderful weekend of sailing with Captain Greg and First Mate Moose. My husband is a sailor, but it's been a while, and he was delighted to take the wheel part of the day. We highly recommend sailing with Cape Breton Charters and Captain Greg, if, like us, you are lucky enough to get on their very full schedule. Thank you, we look forward to future sails together.
