First time for city people sleeping in the woods, and despite the park being fully booked, we didn't feel any hustle and noise from all the families staying there. We stayed at Lime Kiln Campground, with pretty spacious, treed campsites and a generous distance between neighbours. Falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the waves was something truly special. Everything is spotlessly well-maintained (welcome centre, washrooms, roads, gravel on site). We had a lakeshore is just a couple of campsites away, allowing for a walk without weird crossing other campsites to get to the lake.

So clearly, they have done some work in the last few years, fresh gravel on the area we were in. Large lots lots of privacy. Thought has been to those who need to back in larger trailers, making it easy. I damaged my truck at another park. Only issue we had is we brought 75ft of extension cord, and that wasn't enough, and the park will charge you twice what the local hardware store does. Clearly moved new electrical to save money. Beach area is nice and clean, but no one obeys the dog/no dog areas. Another nice rock beach, shallow wather great for small children. It's was our first visit, we will be back now that I've spent the money on a new extension cord.

The dog beach is great, its the one we use. The last couple years we have become unable to set up our tents because of medical issues. Our family still likes to camp there but we have to rent a motel room in town. We have seen the cabins and would love to rent one of them. We have a dog that is not a registered service dog but assists my husband with his diabetic alerts and my falling issues since my brain tumor. We don't go many places without her, especially overnights. It would be the perfect place 5 out of 5 if they designated a cabin for disabled with a dog or even normal people with a dog.
We adore watching the gorgeous sunset.

This was the best campground that we visited this year.
The sites are large, private and level.
The trail around the park is rather enjoyable and close to Lake Huron.
The washrooms and showers were neat and clean and in great repair.
We can hardly wait to book a return visit for next year

Absolutely no privacy in our camp site, many were similar or worse, washroom smell blew into our site constantly, so you were smelling it as you tried to eat. Constant fires were necessary to mask odours. Hardly any level room in our site and we may have been surrounded by poison Ivy, not sure. No store facilities whatsoever. I think this may be typical of this type of park. Pluses were large Sandy beach and sounds of water washing onto shore. Also I love the walk through the piney dunes area.

Well designed campground that provides big sites with lots of privacy. Great beach but cold water in June (go in August). Good local towns to explore too.

We visited this campground in September 2020. The campsite and washrooms were excellent, with regular cleaning of the washrooms occuring due to Covid-19. We had a beautiful campsite, with a pull-thru configuration, electricity, firepit and very private site. We could hear the water from our campsite, and enjoyed the various nature present. Staff were very pleasant and engaging, and security drove through at regular intervals (camp wardens).

Beautiful park. The sites were private and plenty big enough. Our site 24 had some poison ivy and the fire pit was on a slope which made for only 3 chairs to be around and we had a hard time pulling our 26ft trailer in due to some trees, other than that it was a fantastic week.
The waters are crystal clear and turquoise. Your only tropical oasis. Bring water shoes tho.
It’s a very well maintained park. The surrounding towns are cute and worth visiting.
There’s a cemetery in the park and it’s interesting to go visit. The walking trails are very well maintained and fun.
Happy Camping!

Big, private campsites that are close to the water. Pretty beach, water levels really high this year so not much space to sit. Water is clear and clean. Bring water shoes! Rocks everywhere along the coast. About a 15-20 min drive to groceries and fast food. Fairly clean facilities. No showers bc of COVID :( had to bathe in the water. Quiet, family oriented park.

This is a typical Provincial Park with spacious, private sites.
Our site was a pull through, fairly level side to side, but sloped from back to front.
A large sunny area with a fire pit.
On the way in, 4 water fill spots on a row and at least 3 dump locations on the way out.
Very peaceful and quiet.
A nice park and well maintained.
