I know a few local residents who continually rave about the beauty of the place, how quaint and peaceful it is so I had someone take me and couldn't believe what I was seeing. There's nothing beautiful about it. Campers and people pitching tents everywhere; just green, green, green. I thought there'd be beautiful floral arrangements to take in. What... More

We have been camping here every few years for many years( except for the years it was closed) and it never fails to impress us. The sites are large and very private. Clean, peaceful and the new area looks wonderful ., I am wondering what it is like for the tent to have a gravel pad instead of grass or... More

Camping on thanksgiving weekend was amazing. Park is very well maintained even in the late season. Can't wait to go back.

My family stayed at Inverhuron for the first time, the first week of July, booking campsite 113 in Lime Kiln Campground 2 weeks prior to our stay. We were a little skeptical about the gravel pads, especially for tenting, but it was actually a great idea! Better drainage, cleaner, no sand or dirt to track in to tent. Site was... More

This was a great place for kids. Love the face you have ample greenery between you and the next camp hounds. Washrooms were clean. Showers need to be hosed out a couple times a day but we're still clean enough to shower. No ventilation in the shower so walk with only the things you can hang or everything is wet.... More

We camped from a Wednesday night until Sunday of this Labour Day Weekend. We found the sites private and easy to put our trailer on. Our campsite 177 was small for the size of our trailer 25' with a tip out, we were not able to open our awning as the fire pit was too close. The fire pit looked... More

We stayed in Holmes Campground for a week in August 2016. The weather was beautiful, we could easily walk to the shore of Lake Huron and watch the beautiful sunsets. The Holmes Campground is overall very nice, set up for RV camping and many sites are quite private. We did not experience any of the fly issues at our campsite... More

This campground is very well kept and clean. We stayed in Holmes Bay area which is the newest and it was very nice large sites on pea gravel. Drainage was great! The flies were HORRIBLE! Just constant swarms of them landing all over us whether or not we were eating. The beach is long but thin and very little sand.... More
