Beautiful waterfall; owner needs to pick up trash

Went with a guide to this out of the way waterfall. Pretty but not spectacular. Took a long time to get there on an I paved road. If you are in the area then go but don't make a special trip.

After a morning of building (habitat for humanity), we head off for a little hike and a cool dip at the waterfall. Be prepared for a dusty walk and bathing suit on as there is no place to easily change. The water was fairly cold in February but we did enjoy the swim including under the waterfall itself. A nice... Shame about the garbage around the lower pool, but something to get used to in Central America. Went in January (dry season) and there was still quite a bit of water falling. The swim was refreshing after pushing a bicycle 5kms uphill to get to the falls. You can get to the top of the falls too with a little... More

This could be such a great place, the waterfall and surrounding nature is truely remarkable, BUT.... Why pay 25 Córdoba entrance fee If the whole damn place is littered all over? This is a private property we were told by the neighbours and I would suggest to all future visitors that you make your entrance fee depending whether they cleaned... More

The waterfall itself is beautiful. But there's quite a lot of litter at this place. We hiked there from the hospital which is nearby. The hike was about 7km and it takes about an hour to get there. From the entrance it's another 800m. It costs 25 C$ per person. Probably it's the better idea to take a taxi to... More

Took a taxi to the entrance from the center of town and paid 250 cords for two people. The lady at the gate said that was a bit expensive but said that they sometimes try charging upwards of 500. Trek to the waterfall was easy and there a couple other cool paths to explore along the way. Water was cool... More

Excellent place to take a picnic and chill out with nature. We swam in the coldish water right behind the waterfall. Beautiful birds and butterflies abound. Steep walk down and back up again, but well worth it. They say in the guide book that the waterfall dries up January to May, but the woman at the ticket office assured us... More

I walked from the centre of town - about ten kilometres all up. First walk out to the hospital, then turn right into the road with a bus stop in one corner and a tie da on the other - it's dirt at the start but is currently being paved. Just follow that road for seven kilometres or so until... More
