Equally beautiful during winter

The vast landscape filled with white snow is equally breathtaking. A very humbling experience for city folks.

My family (parents and me) rented a bicycle at Biei station (there were 2, I rented one from the convenience store and unfortunately the lady had very poor attitude, she spoke curtly and was not very helpful...) Anyway I would really only recommend visiting the area if you are using a electric bicycle or car. We cheaped out and took... More

This place is very nice to visit when sunny day, to save the time i recommend for using car or bus, but if you have plenty time u can try using bicycle. just drive/cycle over there and you can feel the greatness of this place. especially ppl who really like photography the trees will be very nice object.!

I read the review that said that it's just a typical field that you can find in the countryside. The thing is, I think me and most Japanese people don't really find these fields in our everyday life in the big cities of Japan. That's why driving around Biei is a popular holiday for the Japanese. I was tired of... More

We took twinkle bus to visit these places in the end of July. In this course, the bus departed from tourist information center (right in front it) and the first stop was at Ken and Marry Tree (10 min), which is a very big tree, named after the characters appeared in the Nissan car commercial. The next stop was Seven... More

There are so many picturesque views in this area that this one does not particularly stand out. If you are in the area, might as well stop by but I wouldn't go out of my way.

It is just a typical field you will find in countryside with normal tress that somehow become quite famous. Not really worth visiting.

It is okay for a short visit, but there were a lot of large tour groups visiting this place. The flower fields are pretty to look at and to take pictures. Unlike Farm Tomita, this place is not nearly as well organized. To save time, we rented a gas-powered golf cart, which was 2000 yen for 15 minutes. It is... More

Very nice view.. A great way to tour around biei! But we made a mistake by doing this by bicycles. The loop was hilly which makes the ride quite tiring. It's doable... But I won't recommend it in a hot and sunny day.

We visited in June and although the fields were planted, none of the flowers were flowering. We drove around for about an hour and took some photos. Very, very unexciting at this time of year. It may be better in July/August but the patchwork fields aren't as good as in Netherlands or the UK. We travelled from Furano to see... More
