The cave is not like the typical caves that I’ve seen here in the Philippines. Upon entering you’ll never know that it is a cave. It has blue lights that reflects the depth of the waters. It has alot of rock formations too. The temperature...More

Went here during a sunny summer afternoon. Inside very cool; the stalagmites are not that impressive to my opinion but the water is fantastic. The lakes inside have almost an otherworldly feel.

Be sure to bring your camera to catch the beautiful colors and interesting patterns as you descend into this cave, which has easy access for most travelers, young and old.

Comparing with Postojna Cave, it's small but you can feel more unwrought condition. There are 2 cave eantrance. One is for touristic cave, the other is for reserch. Inside is almostly 10 ℃, no rental clothing. You have to go up & down the stairs....More

This is a beautiful cave tour. Make sure you wear/bring a sweatshirt! It's cold in there. You go pretty deep into the caves. There are some spots with small spaces. The lights they use are a neat addition to the beauty of the place.

Ryusendo cave is over 5 kilometers long, making it one of the largest caves in Japan. It is well lit, with a very clear, albeit winding path, that lets you explore about a fifth of the length. The cave itself is beautiful, but the real...More

Rode the JR bus from Morioka using our JR passes and enjoyed the scenery along the way. The cave entry is only 1000 yen. Most of the cave is fairly level, but you do have to watch your head. Rushing stream is beautifully lit up,...More

This cave, regarded as one of the 3 largest limestone caves in Japan was quite a surprise. Like many caves, a river pours out at the mouth of the cave. The surprise is that unlike many limestone caves there is no central chamber. Rather the...More
