It is a park with lots of shops for "Omiyages" and restaurants. The main attraction, the waterfall, requires a bit of hiking. The path is well paved and has steps all the way to the waterfall. The parking is big and the amenities in place. it is very beautiful in Autumn.

It's a nice short hike to the waterfall. All the route along a stream is surrounded with dense forest. So it's enjoyable in any season. Charming park with a smattering of shops and restaurants on the picturesque walk to the waterfall. The ascent to the main falls is mildly taxing but not long with lots of sun cover. A few small shrines dot the landscape on the "town side" of the walk near the chairlift. Combine with the Site of Irreversible Destiny as the reviewer... More

Yoro is about an hour outside of Nagoya and involves two trains - the Tokaido train from Nagoya north to Ogaki and then the local Yoro line from Ogaki to Yoro. Yoro itself is an interesting little town that seems to have a fascination with gourds. The park (and falls) are pretty much straight up the hill from the train... More
