Can buy tickets at Izuinatori Station for Y2.340 for adults which includes the bus fare. Take the Animal Kingdom bus opposite the Shaddy Gift Shop about 50 meters from the station. It is the last stop and it will take about 15mins to get there. If going by car there will be a parking fee and the entry fee will... More

If you have kids, or like feeding animals, go. Our videos of our two year old feeding the white tiger and the giraffe will be cherished forever. If that sort of thing doesn't interest you, there are more interesting things to do.

Compared to most zoos I've been to in Japan, this one is the cleanest, with the animals very well kept. The area itself is beautifully set in the mountains, surrounded by forest.
