Kameishi, literally means a stone of turtle, is a humorous shape of stone. Compared with Ishibutai, it is not so much impressive. If you pass nearby, you can however take a look. It is free.

I almost passed by it as it is just a rock...but it's on the way to Ishibitai Tomb from Asuka station, so take a look while making the hike...and don't expect too much

After stopping for lunch at a roadside stand selling octopus balls, we headed our bicycles downhill towards the station. We were looking for Kameishi which should have been on this road according to our map. We kept crossing paths all day with a group out for a weekend biking trip. We passed them as they were stopped in the road... More
