My hostel host recommended I take the bus to this cedar before going to Yakusugi-land and it was a great idea. There's not much to see but it's a 3000 year old tree you can get nice and close to. There's a viewing platform which goes all around the tree, with an old stump and another fairly old cedar nearby.
