This is a very quaint prefectural park whose centerpiece is an huge old black pine tree. It's not very tall but extremely spread out. I visited this park last year and the tree was a lot fuller. Unfortunately, a recent storm thinned out the branches...More

It was very interesting to walk around the park and see that "unbelievable" pine tree! There is a small gift shop where you can buy all sorts of Kumejima souvenirs. The lady in that particular shop was most helpful, and informative. Worth the visit guys,..check...More

This is the largest black pine I've ever seen. The park is very well kept and the pine tree is simply magnificent. A must see when visiting Kumejima Island.
