Scilla is a slice of heaven, it is charming, the food and gelato is delicious and the beach and its boardwalk are memorable. There are three boroughs in Scilla: San Giorgio, with beautiful views, San Rocco Church and the piazza. It is a great spot...More

The church is located just behind the castle and is open at no cost. If you are visiting the castle, you might as well take in the church as well. It is pretty inside with a more modern painting of Jesus and a mosiac of...More

This is still a fishing village and the Chianalea is the heart of it. The Marina Grande on the other side of Scilla has now been transformed into a beach for tourists but walking the Chianalea gives one the feel of life here as it...More

A must see especially at night, very romantic this old fisherman village well preserved, with narrow streets, small restaurants and boutique hotels facing the sea. Wonderful views, not to be missed an unforgettable dinner here.

It's not really fair for me to judge this place 100% because I wasn't there at night, unfortunately... I was there during the day though, and found it to be a very charming area, very picturesque and memorable. The boats at dock and the water...More

The northern part of Scilla is an old fisherman village. Not very lucrative nowadays. Guess the absence of the beach makes it harder for the locals to make a living of tourism. Beautiful views, narrow abrupt streets kind of dirty and unkept. There is potential,...More
