I was SO impressed by everything about this store - the historical building with the original tin ceiling, the very reasonable prices with no tax added, the friendly inviting staff and the collection of hand made Canadiana. We especially liked the wooden bowls and cutting boards, the charcuterie boards, the super soft alpaca animals, unique bird houses and the tree full of handmade owls. The beautiful tea towels were Canadian Aboriginal designs but were made in China!
They have a lot of jams, jellies and condiments. Although I couldn’t find the elusive Chokecherry jelly, they did have Elderberry and Saskatoonberry! I certainly will revisit this lovely shop any time I’m in the area. They are open a little later on theatre nights!

We stayed in Blyth for a few nights and I visited this cute shop twice. Loved browsing through the store and seeing all of the lovely (many handmade within 100km) items. I ended up with 3 bags of reusable water "balloons" (they're hand-knitted - or crocheted?), some soup mix, a hand-woven tea towel (which I intend to use on my table as placemat for a centrepiece) and some "Holy Crap"😁. Look forward to visiting again sometime!

Neat co-op store, that is not for profit. Lots of cool, Canadian created pieces from far and wide! Would be a great spot to stop for unique gifts.

I had a lovely browse thru this 'all Canadian' shop and came away with several items - some for me, some as gifts. All unique and great prices. While shopping I had a lovely long chat with Bonnie, who was on duty that day and whose wonderful photography is available too!

I like this store and it does have potential to find unique gifts though they tend to be a little pricey but mostly canadian wares which is good. Definitely worth a visit when you are in downtown Blyth!

We had lunch at The Blyth Inn on our way to Blyth Festival Theatre. Maple and Moose was a perfect browsing spot between the two. If you are looking for a special Canadian gift this is the place to look. The knowledgeable, friendly staff will help you choose the perfect gift from children's toys and clothing to Canadian edibles and jewelry. Everything is moderately priced and includes the tax! Allow an hour to see everything there is to see and to admire the 1800's restored building. I am in a wheelchair and so many stores are so jam-packed and aisles are so narrow I can't get in the door. This is not the case in Maple and Moose. Come and browse but bring your credit card. You won't leave empty-handed!

This shop is filled with Canadian made articles and lots of Maple leaf items, in almost every form imaginable. We could not leave without some special jams and some dried gluten free soup mixes....not always an easy item to find.
The lady on duty was very helpful, informing us of special details we would have missed. Really worthwhile to spend a little time here either before or after the theatre.
