The retail section is within two buildings. The largest (1st) one is primarily women's wear, the second (behind it) is men's wear and discounted clothing.

Leather goods are only a relatively smaller portion of the products. There is a large quantum of various clothing such as cloth coats, blouses, dresses, men's shirts, trousers, pants, etc.

It was nice to find some canadian made shirts, but these were primarily plaid. Cooper sweaters (good quality Canadian made) are available.

There are considerable number of products that are made off shore, including regular clothing and leather goods.

Prices are higher than some competitors in various areas of the province.

Staff were pleasant and helpful.

you get great service -- staff friendly and experienced -- they have a wide variety of inventory -- we went to have an alteration done on a coat -- previouslt puchased a few years ago -- no problem -- the staff did an excellent job on working out the problems and have them fixed -- try to get that on line

I have visited Bainton's Old Mill two times, each time with different sales attendant who were all knowledgeable & friendly. They let me browse in comfortable atmosphere, with out pushing sales on me,yet came an asked if I was finding everything alright. Both times they have helped my elderly mother out with her purchases. Affordable socks, blankets, moccasins, sheepskin rugs and $10.00 mitts! I'm sure to make my way back more often!

Two of us were greeted by staff, which was nice. After that, we were followed room to room by an employee who continued to converse loudly with her colleague who was in another room. It was obvious that she was observing whether we were stealing. This definitely made each of us feel unwelcome. Prominently displayed, apparently as their best merchandise, was a ladies' plaid pantsuit as well as a blazer, in the crayon red that was popular in the early '80s, with wide lapels and shoulder pads. Coats and jackets were of the same era. The fabrics and styles are ancient. Don't waste your time here.

If you are in the market for a leather product this is a good place to go. However I found the prices to be extremely expensive but you are probably going to get better quality then at Danier Leather. Not everything that is sold here is made here though, especially in the 50% off room. I tried on a couple of jackets, and they all looked horrible on me. I couldn't really find anything I liked, however there were some nice things. If I were in the market for some gloves or a new motorcycle jacket and wanted something cheap I might be able to find something here.

We drop in here when we go to the theatre and have found that little here changes from year to year. There is lots of leather stuff for sale - coats, gloves, even some clothing items. Sheep skins and wool items are also featured. There is an area that has sale items that offer real bargains if you find something that you like. If you are looking for something leather then is a place to visit - you will probably find a deal. It's a place to wander in and just enjoy the smell of the leather.

this is a wonderful old building housing leather coats, jackets, leather gloves and mitts, sheep skins, wool socks, wool blankets. a huge back room has everything 50 %. What we bought was 50% off the last ticketed price. I spent so much time going through a pile of sheepskins that were on sale. Fun. Lovely Irish sales lady.We visited both Sat and Sun! Plan on returning one day!
