Many of the old Earls from the castle are buried here with monuments within the church. It is also interesting and beautiful in its own right.

Incredibably important part of English and British history here. A stunning church with so much history & beautiful stained glass. The old organ is incredible - restored piece of history. The warden in attendance was very helpful & knowledgeable. Would like to return to take it in more.

Open and welcoming church just next to the market square. Although some features date from 12th century, the majority of the building is built in the perpendicular style with intricate fan tracery in the roof. For fans of poetry, the church holds the tomb of Henry Earl of Surrey, 'the Poetic Earl' who was beheaded for treason. A magnificent place well worth a visit.
