Faut absolument le voir!! The frescoes are amazing and the views... I HIGHLY recommend! It's quite far so if you don't have a rental car, I recommend booking with a company like Traventuria.

I went by car which is about 2 hours from Sofia. You can reach by highway quite close to Rila village, so it is good driving. I spend about 2 hours in the monastery enjoying its quiet space and beautiful paintings.
