The best place we visited during our two week trip in Czech Republic. The place is unforgettable. Even though guides didn't talk in English, we weren't disappointed - the view was magnificent!

If you are in Brno, it's worth a drive to get here. (It will be a lot easier, though, if you have your own car...) This trip will combine the drive with a nice little 2 mile hike and then the trip into the cave....More

Blansko is 30mins by car from Brno away, check in advance if guided tours available, you have proper shoes for wood and slippery stones. Extreme fair restaurants to eat (Golem) Don't be disappointed if English guide is crap, the view is worth it

The place located a bit outside from Blansko train station which can be accessed most easily from Brno. When you get to Blansko you can either go by bus or by taxi. If you are unlucky and go on a national holiday (as I did)...More

The area is full of small caves and it is worth a day trip. We visited three caves in one day. Punkva cave is the most famous one, but we found Balcarka Cave the most impressive. It is a bit outside of the area compared...More

I had booked a grayline tour - so they arranged a car, driver and guide. Yes, it is elderly friendly with hand railings, but can be slippery in some areas
