A long strip of green along the river that divides the city and beaches from the port. We were delghted to see kingfishers in particular, also turtles and in the mini zoo about half way up on thee right, deer, ostriches, zebra and goats

So there's the Etgarim challenge park for younger ones- at the end of a short bumpy dirt dusty road. It was locked when we got there at 1800h and looked abandoned and in decay, but it's obviously an active site.

An amazing and quality park. Park Etgarim in the middle of Lachish Park is amazing and high quality and suitable for the whole family including children, with endless attractions, an amazing zoo, a blessing and more. Warmly recommended.

The park has 2 parts- one with a pool and attractions for kids called Etgarim park. The other side is a nice walk along the river Lakhish (no swimming). There are big cages with mostly Savanna's animals. If you continue to the east you reach the sea.
