We had an excellent afternoon walking around this charming nature reserve. Typical raw estuary environment home to many species, it certainly didn't disappointment on the day.

The area is so quiet and typically seaside town, boats and wetland, birds and fish.... The walk is about 45 minutes each way from leigh on sea train station +/- a bit, and if you continue your return walk along the seafront you will also pass some amazing places like the cockle sheds and some good gastropubs. Allow 3 -4... More

Easy free parking..good footpaths to follow..basically around the island..saw two hides.. Which were fun for the children to spot the birds from..one down fall..there are a lot of dog walkers there. And from the looks of it some do not clear up their doggie poo..so had to watch where we put our feet...

A lovely place for a walk and for bird watchers and photographers. I took the dog which was wonderful for him although I was very aware of the numerous photographers were wary of him. My first visit and others are right about the dog poo all over the place. So watch your footing. Parking was easy enough on a Sunday... More

There are some stunning views and walks here, many of them are ruined by the immense amount of poo left by selfish dog owners

Came here a few weeks ago for a Sunday walk. Two couples and a dog (yes the owners do clear up after him). We parked in the station car park which only had a couple of ticket machines and a queue as you need to put in car reg e.t.c. and the machine took ages (it even apologizes and thanked... More

Autumn is a brilliant time to visit two tree Island. The Siberian Geese are wintering here, and there are all sort of other waterfowl around. It's a bit of wildness amid the built up Thames Corridor - always a lovely walk to be had

Access to Two Tree is not the most user friendly most visitors arrive by car having negotiated the queue for the "tip", the vicious traffic humps, suspension wrecking pot holes and commuter parked cars you will arrive at "marsh end" where you can park your car. From here there are various "walks" that you can follow. What strikes one is the... More

Peace and nature are the order of the day here! A lovely morning walk with our Rough Collie on Sunday. Call in at the cafe by the golf range. Good food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff .... great to sit out on the grass in the shade. Go enjoy!!!
