At the Ionian island (Lefkada) is a very touristic village called Nydri. At the middle of this village is a road for a very beautiful canyon with a waterfall at the end of 350m walking distance from parking.Easy access with a very relaxing canteen at the beginning of the trail.

Looks like it would be great when the waterfall is in full flow; as it is though it's a nice walk along a dry river bed, a trickle of water at the actual falls, some pools with froglets in.

Beacause it didn't rain it was a little drowned. But it was ok. We took a taxi for 12 € and than walked.

This is apparently quite spectacular earlier in the year. We went September and it literally was a trickle. It is a lovely walk up from Nydri tho with some nice scenery on the way up. Quite steep in parts and decent footwear needed.
