This little museum is all about traditional Korean alcohol. The exhibits are well presented, there’s very little English except in major sections. With the help of Google Translate, I was able to work out that the exhibitions detailed the processes and methods used of creating alcohol, as well as the equipment used. Interestingly, many of the recipes were secret and so are now lost. There’s an over-engineered AR video experience. I wouldn’t bother with that.

This is a little, hard to find place. It is just outside the main paid part of the Jeonju Hanok in the nearby restaurants and shops. There is not much to see, but if you're interested in the history of Korean alcohol, it might be worth it. If you can read Korean, it will be better. You go in and there is a tasting room, then through the next door are cases of bottles and mannequins showing how the process goes. All the explanations are in Korean, though. There is a nice little sitting area, and a small shop that sells local alcohols. If you're in or going to the Jeonju Hanok anyways and are a little interested, its not bad. I wouldn't recommend going just for this, though, as its underwhelming. Taken as part of the history in Jeonju, it's not bad though. And its free to go in and look around.

A kind of random-seeming display of wine bottles. But check out the cute doll exhibits that illustrate the wine-making process (Step 1: Calm the feelings). Fun for a quick visit.

Even it has an exhibition hall about Korean traditional alcoholics. It shows how to make and so on. You can buy products there also. It's quite good but expensive. Korean drinks has a deep history but it stopped under the Japanese ruling.... Now a few brands survived.

everything is written in Korean in a nice house. It is free to wander around and that is the only positive point.

Want to know how the local "ju"s are made? Want a hands on experience! I've been here several times and each time there are new discoveries! Not everything is detailed in (great) English, but there are plenty of visuals, hands on demos and fun curators. On one trip my friend and I were given special (tiny) samples of an 180 proof concoction that could run my car. I've also been invited to help make fermented rice wine. When in a low cash-spot just before visiting family in Austria for Christmas, this was one place that took foreign credit cards and sold beautifully boxed gift sets.

The museum component was quite small and lacked English explanations but I liked the little shop where I could buy some souvenir alcohol (which I did because they were lovely bottles) and they had a nice sitting area.

It's a small museum that lacks English explanations. Just one room of some history of Korean wine making and one room selling wine. Not worth going out of the way for but it's free.

Small museum located in Jeonju Hanok Village. Most of the explanations were in Korean, except the portion with models describing the steps for making different types of wine. Despite the language barrier, my friend and I enjoyed ourselves at the wine museum. We also got to sample their mixed fruit berry wine, 8.6% alcohol content. (It was rather strong for us!)
Outside the museum, there were also wooden displays of dinosaur toys, where children could make their own wooden dinosaur or chair, where they could place their mobile phone in. The chair also acts as a speaker! Interesting craft activity for kids to bring home as souvenirs :)

Jeonju Korean Traditional Wine Museum is a very small museum located near the hanok village with a few displays and explanations of wine making Korean style. There is a shop out front selling a few examples of the wines and soju. While the exhibits are mostly in Korean, its pretty easy to work out the wine making processes via the displays. The museum is free, so a few minutes walking around is fairly harmless.
