We visited third week of October on a sunny day. Beautiful beach. Free parking. Hardly anyone around. The sea was warm. Easy to find. Lovely.

Crystal clear water, dazzling quartz sand, however too well known and costly parking! So drive down the coastal beach track for a few 2 or 3 km and have just the same with very few people and park for free! Enjoy a really nice lunch at Spiaggia Maimone....

One of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, with amazing quartz sand / pebbles. Beware of the hordes of mosquitos in the macchia bushes around the parking area which are are real pain and can hardly be fought off.

The quartz sand here is very unique. Unfortunately it was starting to rain as we arrived, so we could only enjoy the view--not a day on the beach here. It looked lovely!

I made the journey down past Alghero to this beach based on recommendations, it's certainly different and the colour is amazing for sure, however there are other more exclusive beaches dotted around Sardinia. Parking is free and there's plenty of space though, so if you're already in the area, definitely come here. If you're travelling anything over an hour though,... More

Our third beach visited in Sardinia and definitelly one of the most beautifull. The beach is little bar away from any village, but in beautifull. Long with white sand and crystal clear water. Cost is getting fast deep but it does not matter. There are also showers at the beach end, but with salt water :-) 2 restaurants with a... More

This place offers the rarest combination of elements: the sand, made of tiny quartz pearls dotted by multicolor rocks of the same size, so precious that it is unlawful to take them home. Sunset from the beach is wonderful. Expect the dune areas behind the beach line to be very dry, if not dusty, in Summer, but this gives a... More
