The entry had been blocked by a landslide after heavy rain, enough to close the attraction in many countries. We simply took off our shoes, waded through knee deep mud and went on. a good place to spend a day between Ijen & Bromo

Good place and the view is very good from below the waterfall. Take waterproof camera . This will help to take awsome pics. Also check if you r allowed under the main waterfall.

From the main car park, we get ferried to the entrance on motorcycles. From there it was short, easy hike along the river to get the waterfalls - together with the official guide. You should buy a raincoat to wear, unless you want to get soaking wet. Near the waterfall, we criss-crossed the river a few times, so wearing slippers... More

Majestic place, mostly visited by local tourists. You cannot access the final waterfall if you can't walk into a river, bear water on your clothes or climb steep slippery rocks. Our guide was really helpful as he brought our 6 year old on his back when it got difficult. Overall Our children enjoyed it very much.

Madakaripura has a cave where the famous general Gajah Mada of the Majapahit empire meditated. And you can actually risk your neck and climb over the water fall just to get to the foot of the cave. Seriously! Just make sure you hire a local guide cause he can surely show a safer foothold to do so. Before you get... More

Bike rides down from the resting area to the Waterfall ticketing entrance. Walked all the way in till you start to get wet, that's where the fun begin. We managed to convince the guide to let us climb deeper in to take some photos directly under the waterfalls. Totally worth it!

It is a very nice waterfall and it is not really difficult to get through, if you ready to get wet, and with a little climbing, you can take a very picturesque photo under the waterfall. Tips: get a raincoat and "keep" them until u go back to your car as u might get under heavy rain on your way... More
