Well worth the diversion to find this unique museum to the one and only roald dahl. An excellent portrayal of his life, early and late, Playback of his voice. Display of his working shed. Games and all the books.

This museum was nice and quiet considering we visited on a Saturday Bank Holiday afternoon. There is a Car park within walking distance which was nearly empty at the weekend, but is probably full of commuters on weekdays. The Museum itself is small, with 2...More

Travelled from Kent to visit here today. If you love the author as much as I do it’s worth a visit. The village is very quiet but if you have lunch it’s a nice way to spend a few hours.

Good little museum. Included lots of information about Roald Dahl, and had lots of interactive exhibits, which was good for the four year old we visited with! I would say it’s probably more suited to older children (7-10), and adults who still love Roald Dahl.

If you have children who love Dahl, this is a great place to visit. Lots of information and quite hands on. A good combination of fact, combined with Dahl's own fiction and Quentin Blake's drawings and hands on things for kids to do. My teenager...More
