It's quite a climb but once you get up there the view is awe inspiring and the air is fresh and clean. Better not go when it's very hot though.

The park is situated between the cities of Wenzhou and Taizhou. You can take train or taxi to there by either of these two cities within an hour. The park consists of several scenes that you shall pay different entrance fees, more details of park are available in their official web-site: http://yw.wzyds.com. Although the park is not so famous in... More

this mountain is not super world famous, but it has stunning scenic. It has 6 to 8 different spots for you to go up and down the mountains, but I would say only 2 or 3 of them are spectacular. They are known as "Lin Fong" - the most beautiful spot in my opinion. "Da rong qiou", a very special... More

If you decide to go there after the holiday season, the best way is to hire a local driver, although it may not be cheap if you do not travel in a bigger group. There is also an option to go together with the Chinese travel agency but you must be prepared for a very "quick tour" with stops only... More

It's very good to have the friends in China, because they try to show the most beautiful places of this wonderful country. But sometimes it's a difficulty for me, because I have not info of the exact name of the place. There are 8 places for the visits in Yangdanshan. It seems, the name of this unusual place is Ling... Amazing time, the weather wasn't the best but it actually gave the hikes a cool feel and vibe. Hired a personal driver for 200RMB and worth every penny. Will make it easier for you to get to every scenic spot along the way. Only downside is paying separately at each trailhead, not a single park fee. Other than that, a... More

We travelled up to Wenzhou on the new high speed train from Xiamen and hired a driver who stayed with us for 24 hours and proved to be invaluable and incredibly good value. Our first stop on our tour of this area was to Yandang Mountain World Geopark. I was very pleased to see that almost all of the signs... More

This was my 3rd trip to Yandang Mountain. If you could avoid going with a tour group, you'll have a better time getting there on your own first then hire a solo tour guide. When we went with a group, everything was a rush rush. On your own, you have the freedom of sigh seeing the scenic views of your... More

This is a report of a two-day trip to North Yandangshan. It will be more useful to travelers pursuing independent exploration and good value than to those who opt for organized bus tours and quick sight-seeing. From Yandangshan train station a Y5 minivan ride took us to Xianglingtou village at the base of the mountain trails. Visitors with little experience... More
