The worlds largest Bronze Buddha Statue is a must see in this tourist area. It's an amazing place to visit. The to the top is Farley easy as there are steps to the top. The fisherman's Buddha, bbq's and concerts/entertainment on the a beach and a kids water slide play area feature here. Not far around the corner you can fish in some deeper water areas off the break walls. Also plenty of mid range restaurants just off the beach front, Good for an hour or two to walk around.

Not the biggest Buddha statue but very close. Buddha is places on top of a hill surrounded with good landscape. Need to climb a lot to reach the Buddha, but yeah... you are here for that. It closes by 5pm and ticket cost around 60 yuan.

The entire temple is spread out across a large area. One of the main highlights is the World's largest sitting Bronze Buddha. There is a daunting amount of steps to reach the top of the temple but at the top sits the the chamber for 9,999 individually light up Buddha statutes. The Giant Buddha statue makes it 10,000! Well worth... More

Really great place to get some interesting photographs. Even though the temples have been built recently, there are some fantastic things to see. The gardens and temples surrounding the giant Buddha are lovely - we spent hours just wandering around.

The tourist plaza is cool. There is a massive layout of the entire region all made by hand. I recommend seeing the Nanshan Buddha and the dynastic museums at the top of the mountain.

Modern privately purpose built Buddhist temple. Lots of steps to climb to reach the top. Very serene scene and a few displays to visit. There is a modern man made faux great wall nearby. If in the area, definitely recommend visiting once.

I toured the place with a local friend and a tour guide. It was interesting and was a little impressed with the huge bronze and smaller jade buddha statutes. You can also tour the area where they replicated some of the more famous dynasties. I am not sure if a non-Chinese would enjoy this attraction, but I supposed one should... More
