Clear water, golden sand, these are the good parts. It's definitely not the best beach on the island. It is the starting point for the diving trips, therefore there are too many boats, but don't imagine too many. Also it can get a bit crowded by Ko Kut standards, which still means not too many people.

There isn't actually a beach in Bang Bao as it is a fishing village on stilts. It is very quaint and a lovely place to visit as it is so different to other places on the island. We actually went on a boating trip which included snorkelling, swimming, fishing and a visit to a turtle sanctuary. A good day out.

The best way to get to the nice beach is thru the hotels, we parked at To The Beach resort and walked down to the beach. It's huge open bay with a pier for the occasional boat and it slopes down very gently. Snorkelling is OK here by the rocks but if swimming near the pier be careful as there are Black Sea Urchins attached to the posts so give it a wide berth

I felt like I was swimming in the paradise of the Blue Lagoon. Crystal clear water white sandy beach that felt like baby powder on your feet. Backed by coconut trees that gave you shade to sit and relax. In my opinion the best beach on the island

Fantastic white sand beach, clear blue water and free kayaking. Good place to unwind and relax, there are some nice places to eat and drink along the bay.

This is certainly one of the best beaches on the Island. The water is brilliant clear and there is a stretch of Sand with shady palmtrees around.
Unfortunately there is no real good infrastructure. You cannot rent sunbeds so bring a beachmat!

First of all, Bang Bao Bay on Ko Kut should not be confused with Bang Bao Bay on the nearby island of Koh Chang.
Bang Bao is a popular spot for snorkeling, with crystal clear water, varying in colour from blue, to turquoise to green, depending on the sunlight.
It is a good place for families with kids because the beach slopes gently into the water and the sea is generally fairly calm.
There are several resorts on Bang Bao: Koh Kood Resort, the Beach Natural Resor To the Sea Resort, and Siam Beach Resort. In fact, Bang Bao Beach is sometimes called Siam Beach.
There is a 200 metre wooden pier jutting out into the bay which makes an excellent platform for watching the schools of small tropical fish that inhabit the waters.

Simply safe into the water and swim along the shoreline to find a beautiful coral reef and you will be in heaven!
This unsoiled beach and bay is a must visit for anyone interested in the sea, nature and being in a pristine environment.
It’s simply wonderful!!!

Unfortunately the beach and the water was not so nice at our first day due to crap t the sea.
The beach is also not very big. All in all not a highlight.

The water is crystal clear, the beach as such is nice but the piers stretching out in the bay is a real eyesore - especially those that haven’t been maintained. Better and more tranquil beaches can be found.
