We enjoyed walking along the rainforest boardwalk and around the wetlands. At the time of day we visited, it was a little bright/glary for photography but there was plenty of birdlife and interesting flora to enjoy.
This wetland north of Cairns is a great spot for a peaceful walk or a BBQ, there are toilets n plenty of parking, not well advertised but it is free n very interesting, particularly liked the rain forest boardwalk
