mostly in the north belt of india snakess are worshipped , nagni mata is just near to pathankot . there are two temple of nagni called choti nagni and bari nagni - i donot the story behind it but choti nagni is 12 km from pathankot on the way to dharmasal and bari nagni is 40 km from pathankot temple... More

Nagni Temple is one of the famous attractions of the city which is located at a distance of 16 Kms form Pathankot. The temple is devoted to the Goddess of snakes. A huge fair is organized here every Saturday in the month of August.

A nice temple located at a village Nagni in Himachal Pradesh close to the town of Nurpur. As per local folklore the deity here has the power to cure people that have had a snake bite.
